Yesterday's visit to London saw us arriving bang on 11am (I DO so like getting there on time!) but we didnt' see anyone until almost 12. The first thing was to have 4-limb blood-pressures for which Victoria sat beautifully and didn't complain (therefore they got a good and reliable result). Then we had to wait again before the echo. That took quite a long time too - the important bits to look at seem to be particularly hard to get into view - and it was confirmed again that the heart repair was holding up to the pressure. It was the lady registrar who did this echo and she said that it was not certain that surgery wasn't in the offing. The information gathered yesterday (including and ECG) will be discussed with Dr Magee - who wasn't there yesterday. We have another appointment in June.
We were the last people out of the place and headed for the Science museum where we looked at how a safe combination lock works - v. interesting. I had Simon and James with me and it was rather nice to have them and be able to pop into museums to see specific bits of interest.
